I assume its because you believe that art is the driving force that should guide our society (rather than morality doing the driving), and that artists know what’s best for all of us - including the letting of our kids pose naked for a photographer. Tell me, specifically, why this act is any different to the, all far too frequent, other occurrences of perverts taking photos of naked children. What now is to stop thousands of predators committing the same offences and simply pleading, “its just for arts sake” to get away with it. Surely all that the perverts would have to say is that they have not been able to find a suitable gallery yet......Work it out - artists are not the law, and most certainly cannot be excused from it. As for Mr Henson, you are a very good “artist”, even you must accept that there are millions of objects to take photos of out there – if you are striving to find provocative images to make people think, photo graph the poor or needy - even the bloody live animal export trade.
