Newspaper editor arrested in the Gambia
16 Jun 2009A story that reported the firing of two government official has caused the editor of a private newspaper to be held in detention since Wednesday. The story has been withdrawn but the editor, Abdulhamid Adiamoh of the Today newspaper could face up to six months in jail. Read more here
