Two jailed for Suu Kyi prayer
22 Jun 2009A Burmese court has sentenced Chit Pe and Aung Saw Wei, supporters of opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, to 18 months in prison. The two were convicted of insulting religion after leading prayers at a pagoda for Suu Kyi and other activists to be freed. Read more here
