Venezuelan journalists expelled from Honduras
15 Jul 2009Journalists from Telesur and Venezolano de Television (VTV) both Venezuelan state funded channels claim to have been expelled from Honduras. Four crew members were detained on the night of 11 July and although they were released early on Sunday they were not allowed to leave their hotel and claim that they were told to leave the country the following day. Honduran authorities deny that they expelled the journalists and claim that they are not censoring the press.
