In a landmark judgment, the High Court has ruled that information on Mohamed’s treatment should be released, despite the objections of the Foreign Office. Index on Censorship reports

The High Court has rejected Foreign Office claims that the release of secret information would be harmful to national security.

In an unprecedented judgment, Lord Justice Thomas and Mr Justice Lloyd Jones ordered the release of a summary of communications between the CIA and British security officials. Index on Censorship, along with other media organisations, was a party to the claim for the release of the documents by former Guantanamo detainee Binyam Mohamed.

It is understood that the Foreign Office will appeal the judgement, which means that the documents may not yet be released.

it’s about time that someone challenged the us. on their blatant lies & deception of not only the american people, but the whole world.
I guess that the united nations is as big of a joke letting the us. get away with it’s two faced ways & running out on people the government says they will support. our way or the highway!
i’m an american without a country. there is so much co-dependence & entitlement in this country that we will never return to a wholesum nation.
