Honduras civil liberties decree lifted
06 Oct 2009The decree suspending civil liberties in Honduras has been formally repealed. The decree had suspended several civil liberties as well as preventing radio stations loyal to Zelaya from broadcasting. Robert Michetti the current leader of Honduras stated that the decree is no longer needed because “there is peace” in the country.
