Err…by bringing up Vietnam..u went off the tangent of the topic.Ofcourse what you are saying is violence is possible outside realm of Islam/Muslims.That is hugely condescending as well as a dead give away of scramming to cover Islam’s ass.Even by Muslims intellectual estimate the radical Islamic population is around 150million+. That’s a lot of zombies to deal with and rest are cowards or apologists..Every community has a responsibility to others.I frequently hear “moderate” Muslims saying after every terrorist attack something similar to “we are ashamed but dont accept collective guilt”.This is bullshit.Germany showed the way of how civilized countries deal with their past to a lesser extent Japan.Compare it to Turkey,Pakistan which has committed genocideðnic cleansing in Kashmir(ousting a million Hindu Pandits frm their homes and killing 1000s),genocide and rape of millions of Bengali Hindus in Bangladesh,genocide of Armenian genocide etc. The facts are poking in your eyes..if you chose to deny it,you are just blind.

Lets not confuse the radical people claiming to be Muslims with what is Islam. Islam is based on Quran and the actions of Mohammad, anything above this base is interpretations of people. The radicals were and are minority in Muslim community but they show up on media more than others because of their radical actions, and this is not specific to Islam or to modern times, there were radicals with extremist understanding of Islam even during the four successors of Mohammad who were killing other Muslims claiming that they are blasphemy. There has been similar extremist movements in other religions and also in secular communities, Nazi ideology or fascist ideology in Germany and Italy were not religious, nigher were Marxists in Russia and China. US involvement in Vietnam was not for religious reasons, and in all of these cases way more civilians and innocents were oppressed and killed.

The western world bends over to protect the sensitivities of minorities, even bringing in laws to prevent what is called “hate speech.”

An example is the apology done by Canada’s RCMP for arresting a muslim terrorist suspect during ramadan.

I hate to say it but the muslim leaders that have called the killings and bombings as actions of “radical muslims” wears thin when you look at the muslim actions around the world against minorities. This is a great example that the muslim religion is more extreme than they have been letting on. It is time for the moderate muslims to stand up and shout out against these actions.

This is a great example of why it is time to get rid of religion in the world. Religion is the excuse to kill thousands each and every year.
