Aatish Taseer’s new novel Noon is a profound and far-reaching novel set amidst two decades of convulsive change in the ‘new’ New World. At the story’s core is a man whose heart is split across two cultures’ troubled divide. Taseer is the author of Stranger to History: a Son’s Journey through Islamic Lands and The Temple-Goers, which was shortlisted for the Costa First Novel Award in 2010. Come along to this intimate event to hear him read from his new book, followed by a discussion.
The event will be chaired by Jo Glanville, Editor of index on Censorship.
