Magazine Designer – Contract
14 Sep 2012Index on Censorship is tendering for a re-design for their quarterly magazine. As Index continues to position itself as the voice of free expression through its publishing and advocacy work, the redesigned magazine, both online and in print, will play a key role in highlighting and disseminating our work.
The redesigned magazine will give Index the opportunity to engage with a wider audience and readership. Our objective is to produce a magazine that is easier to read and more accessible. We’ll increase the diversity of content, types and lengths of articles and want the new design to reflect this.
New elements to the redesign will include columns (for example ‘News from the capital’ from Delhi, Baku, etc; ‘From the chief executive’) and reports and updates from Index staff on advocacy work (updates on work on Belarus, for example). We are aiming for a fresh, clear, modern and international look for the magazine, reflecting the magazine’s high standards for editorial content and focus.
We seek expressions of interest by Wednesday, 19th September.
