He was one of four journalists who were <a title=\"Winnipeg Free Press: Al Jazeera says reporter held by Libyan authorities has been released, 3 others held\" href=\"http:\/\/www.winnipegfreepress.com\/world\/breakingnews\/al-jazeera-says-reporter-held-by-libyan-authorities-has-been-released-3-others-being-held-119165699.html\" target=\"_blank\">arrested<\/a> on 19 March. They were released on the 31 March, then <a title=\"Committee to Protect Journalists: Al Jazeera correspondents rearrested in Libya\" href=\"http:\/\/bikyamasr.com\/wordpress\/?p=31856\" target=\"_blank\">rearrested<\/a> later the same day.\u00a0 The Libyan officials offered no explanation as to why they were detained and would not reveal where they were held.
