His manuscript explores the connection between the police and the group headed by Turkish Imam Fethullah G\u00fclen. Sik was close to finishing the work when he was <a title=\"The Guardian: Seven journalists arrested in Turkey\" href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/media\/greenslade\/2011\/mar\/04\/turkey-press-freedom\" target=\"_blank\">arrested<\/a> in March. G\u00fclen is now living in exile in the USA.
