A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.riofan.com.br\/\">statement<\/a> on the festival&#8217;s website says organisers were given no further information behind the decision to veto the film&#8217;s screening. Meanwhile, a statement from a spokesman of the bank&#8217;s board <a href=\"http:\/\/cinemaexmachina.wordpress.com\/2011\/07\/22\/o-patetico-monstro-da-censura-volta-a-atacar\/\">claims<\/a> &#8220;not every creative product fits in an unrestrained way in any medium or place.&#8221; RioFan responded by saying it opposes all forms of censorship.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;A Serbian Film&#8217; has raised <a href=\"http:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/films\/features\/a-serbian-film-is-this-the-nastiest-film-ever-made-2137781.html\">controversy<\/a>\u00a0for its depictions of pornography and violence.
