Woubshet Taye, from Awramba Times\u00a0and Reeyot Alemu, from the Feteh newspaper, were <a href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/www.indexoncensorship.org\/newsite02may\/2011\/07\/ethiopia-detained-journalists\/\" target=\"_blank\">initially\u00a0detained<\/a> on June 19 and 21 respectively. The journalists were charged with &#8220;conspiracy to commit terrorism&#8221;, under the Anti-Terrorism Proclamation, adopted in 2009.
