Using fake names, Dan Kellar outed two officers who had\u00a0infiltrated activist networks. Upon learning that one of them was\u00a0spotted in Toronto, he put out\u00a0a \u201ccommunity alert\u2019\u2019 on\u00a0the website of an activist group he was involved with.\u00a0Police claim the comments were\u00a0likely to injure the reputation of the officers by exposing them to hatred, contempt or ridicule. Kellar says\u00a0the\u00a0charges are an attempt to stifle dissent.
