Polish-Belarusian journalist Andrzej Poczobut from Polish daily Gazeta Wyborcza\u00a0was found <a title=\"RFE - Journalist charged with insulting Belarusian president goes on trial\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rferl.org\/content\/journalist_charged_with_insulting_belarusian_president_goes_on_trial\/24235000.html\" target=\"_blank\">guilty of the defamation<\/a> of President Alexander Lukashenko\u00a0in July, and the Hrodna Oblast Court in western Belarus upheld the verdict against him yesterday. Poczobut was given a three year prison sentence, suspended for two years.
