Later that day, two men grabbed him near the newspaper\u2019s office. Khalil believes it was an attempted kidnapping. He had told the authorities on several occasions that he had been followed and threatened, but no action has been taken.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nKhalil was attacked on 22 February by National Security Ministry Officials when they saw him taking pictures of them during an illegal land transaction.
