\"FreeAJstaff\"<\/a>Peter Greste and his colleagues\u00a0Mohammed Fahmy and Baher Mohamed\u00a0have been imprisoned in Egypt since 29\u00a0December 2013.\u00a0They are now on trial facing\u00a0charges related to terrorism, along with six other journalists being tried in absentia. They are among many\u00a0local Egyptian journalists and media workers who have been detained\u00a0by the Egyptian authorities.<\/div>\n
