\u200bIn 2015 and beyond, there is a world of new challenges for the journalist — from legal threats\u200b, online harassment and intimidation\u200b,\u200b \u200bto \u200bsurveillance and physical attacks\u200b.\u200b<\/p>\n

Index staff, guest speakers and participants will discuss risks and challenges, highlight \u200beffective \u200bmeasures\u200b that\u200b exist\u200b to combat these, and\u200b share experience and best practice.<\/p>\n

An introduction to digital security and training material including Security-In-A-Box<\/a> will also be provided.<\/p>\n

This workshop is for young journalists and students in journalism. Participation is free of charge but limited to 20 participants.<\/p>\n
