Journalist Shiv Malik has been granted leave to appeal against a production order served on him by police.
Malik, who specialises in writing on Islamist extremism and terrorism, was ordered by Greater Manchester Police Counter Terrorism Unit to produce materials relating to his book Leaving Al Qaeda, written with Hassan Butt
