Pablo Pasillas Fong, the lead federal investigator in the case of journalist murdered journalist Armando Rodríguez has been killed. He is the second investigator to be murdered in the past month. Fong was shot 13 times on 26 August in the streets of the city. Citing “security reasons”, the head of the office responsible for investigating the death of the murdered journalist has resigned according to the Ciudad Juarez newspaper El Diario.
