CAMPAIGNING AWARD SHORTLIST

The Campaigning category of Index on Censorship’s Freedom of Expression Awards celebrates activists and campaigners who have had a marked impact in fighting censorship and promoting freedom of expression.

This year’s nominees are Diala Ayesh (Palestinian Territories), Fundamedios (Ecuador), Kuchu Times (Uganda) and Tanele Maseko (Eswatini).

The Campaigning category is generously supported by the Hollick Family Foundation, supporting education and skills, human rights, housing, mental health, women and children and the arts through community-led organisations.
