Journaliste en Danger is an organisation dedicated to the defence and promotion of press freedom, initially in the DRC and since May 2003 also in Burundi, Cameroon, Coorganisation Brazzaville, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic, Rwanda and Thad.
Originally founded to promote literature, International PEN engages with, and empowers, societies and communities across cultures and languages, through reading and writing. It is involved in the promotion of literature, international campaigning on issues such as translation and freedom of expression and improving access to literature at international, regional and national levels.
The Institute for the Studies on Free Flow of Information (ISAI) is a non-governmental organisation with programs focusing on journalistic training, research, advocacy, and campaigns for free expression and freedom of the press throughout Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
The Initiative for Freedom of Expression was launched to remove all barriers restricting freedom of expression and has been moving along for the last ten years in the form of a "civil disobedience" movement.
