US and family concern for jailed reporters

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the government was “pursuing every possible approach”  over the two US journalists held in North Korea as their families have pleaded with the authorities there to set the pair free. Read more here

Trial of journalists begins in North Korea

Euna Lee and Laura Ling, the two US journalists arrested in North Korea earlier in March this year, are reported to have gone on trial in North Korea for charges of committing “hostile acts”. The US has dismissed the charges as “baseless”. Read more here
