The Centre for Independent Journalism is a non-profit organisation that aspires for a society that is democratic, just and free where all people will enjoy free media and the freedom to express, seek, and impart information. CIJ actively advocates for broader space for expression and views and openness of information in Malaysia.
The goals of Asociación de Periodistas de Guatemala—Comisión de Libertad de Prensa are to defend freedom of expression, information, thought, and press in Guatemala. APG also protects the right to inform and to be informed, and defends the practice of journalism and the interests and rights of its members.
